CoreData™ 1 Human Anatomy

CoreData™ 1 Human Anatomy Workshop

(40 Hours)

CoreData™ Workshop participants are taught to form each muscle, building from the inside out, axial and appendicular anatomy. Students will learn how to build human intrinsic axial, intrinsic brachial, intrinsic pectoral and intrinsic pelvic and extrinsic muscles. These are presented in the Comprehensive Human Myologik® 5-Volume Atlas for Human Musculature by Jon Zahourek. Students study each muscle in isolation from multiple views. This Facilitates the development of students' understanding of musculature in a three dimensional perspective. The focus of the syllabus is on experiential kinesthetic learning. Students study, then build muscles in clay simultaneously learning to recognize and appreciate interactive relationships. Students utilize Maniken® Pro human skeleton models in this class.

Neurologik™ Human Nervous

Human Nervous (Neurologik™)

(18 Hours)

Drawing patterns of the nervous system and then translating them into space understanding in clay on Zahourek's 2D3D charts and onto Maniken® models. We will confront neurology as a set of problems that we solve, one-at-time. Beginning with insights into our common Chordate Body Plan, we will build the elements of the Central Nervous and Peripheral Nervous Systems necessary for movement. We will first build the peripheral nerves, spinal cord, brainstem, and brain, discovering the basic design of sensory and motor components of the spinal nerves. We will learn and build the logic of neural plexii (brachio-, lumbar-, and sacral-plexus)required for our function.  Finally, on Maniken® models, we will build the pectoral peripheral nerve branches nested in our myology.

Anatomy in Clay® Learning System for Bodywork

Anatomy in Clay® Learning System for Bodywork Instructors

(18 Hours)

This course will provide bodywork instructors how to teach anatomy and physiology with Maniken® models using Anatomy in Clay® Learning System.  After a brief history and introduction to the Anatomy in Clay® Learning System , you will learn clay techniques, classroom management, and effective evaluation methods for grading. You will also learn how to formulate your own curriculum according to your own state/school standards, learn how to incorporate palpation into the curriculum.  You will develop a broad perspective of logistical issues to integrate into your school system also, identify additional anatomy resources for teaching anatomy. Expand your knowledge with confidence, and begin teaching with Anatomy in Clay® Learning System immediately!

Foot Structure with Anatomy in Clay® Learning System

Foot Structure with Anatomy in Clay® Learning System

(4 Hours)

Increase your understanding of the complex and dynamic anatomy of the foot and ankle through exploration of Anatomy in Clay® Learning System. In this four-hour class you will build the ligaments and muscles that provide the support and movement base for the entire body.
