Head and Spinal Canal and Vein Support
Though the exterior mid-section of the Student Model 2 is the same as the Student Model 1, the insides and arms and legs are different. Unlike the Student 1 Model, the Student 2 Model has a spinal canal allowing students to build the brain, spinal cord, organs, and veins in detail. Additionally, this model has pairs of foramen (hole for veins) in cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine, for tracing the idea of peripheral. The foramen helps student create paths for veins.
Like all Maniken® Students, this model divides into halves, though for purposes of ultimate durability and economy, the brachial (or visceral) skeleton does not separate from the cranial head.
